We offer opportunities to those who have an entrepreneurial outlook, and most importantly life experience. One of our core values, and what makes Azrights different, is that we are lawyers who have had experience in other areas outside the law. For example, the company founder Shireen, has raised a family, studied jou
rnalism, and has knowledge and experience in the fields of marketing, social media, and branding.
We believe that having life experience is crucial to our success as lawyers that are relevant to business. Using lawyers with life experience is how we ensure we always have our eyes firmly on the big picture, and can bring our unique skills to bear when we carry out work for our clients.
If you’re keen to avoid being a slave to time sheets, and are someone who can motivate yourself and manage your own time, then a role at Azrights is likely to be ideal for you. Although Azrights maintains an office, it is largely looking to grow as a virtual law firm. It is looking for people who would welcome the flexibility of working from home.
Therefore the candidates we are looking for are those who might have perhaps gone down a different route before going into law, studied or pursued other careers outside law at some point, or may even have taken some time out to raise kids. Whatever your background, you are likely to be someone who would appreciate the flexibility Azrights can offer. We are particularly interested in lawyers who have training in IT or branding, as our work often revolves around internet law, or understanding how IP can help a brand’s overall aims.
For established solicitors there may be opportunities to work flexibly as permanent or ad hoc consultants. If you have more than 3 years post qualification experience, and want to have the benefits of sole practice, without the burdens of setting up on your own, then we may be interested in working with you. If the fit is right, working with us will reduce the regulatory and administrative burdens you would otherwise bear as a sole practitioner, giving you time to focus on the work.
Unfortunately we are unable to take on interns at this point, and are only looking for full time staff who are either looking for training contracts or are qualified solicitors.
