UK Design registration involves a two step process:

1. Filing the application, £200 legal fees plus £60 official fees.
2. Registering the design, £30 legal fees

Searches

The need for pre filing searches, and costs vary depending on the product and the design to be registered. Logo searches are £250.

VAT is payable on legal and search fees. Official fees are VAT exempt.
